The initiators of Job Boys’s Home already work together with Christusträger-Waisendienst for more than 20 years. In the first 10 to 15 years they experienced much animosity and hostility. Some people in the area interpreted the cooperation with a German society as an inexhaustible source of money and as a result excessive prices were made for many products of every-day-life. It took a long time until the population realized what a blessing the girls’ home is which was opened first (Nireekshana Girls’ Home 3064). Today this home has a very high reputation and is highly appreciated in the neighbourhood. In this experience the initiating married couple saw many parallels to the Biblical story of Job. For them the possibility to open a boys’ home is God’s reward for their faithfulness in the difficult years before. In 2015 Job Boys’ Home was opened for 50 boys. It is on the compound next to the girls’ home mentioned above and can thus be organized easily. The new warden Mr. Nani is very committed to the welfare of the boys in his care. So the home will certainly develop well.
